Limpsfield Parish Council brings
us the latest news for the Parish
over on page 10. They have been
informed that the K6 phone box
opposite St Peter’s Church has
been de-commissioned by BT
but because it is Grade II listed,
it can’t be removed, so they will
be adopting it and putting it to
another good use! They’d love
to hear from you if you have any
creative suggestions? Email them
over to: clerk@limpsfield.org.
There are lots of fantastic local
events coming up in Oxted which
Sophie has collated on page 18 as
well as some news in and around
the town.
In early March, over 146 countries
and islands right across the world,
thousands of Christians from a
multitude of denominations and
of every race and colour, gather to
celebrate the World Day of Prayer
by holding special services. Please
do read all about this special day
on page 6, which also details
the local services that will be
taking place. The services are very
informal and are always interesting
and everyone is very welcome to
come along.
