Oxted Country Markets - open every Friday morning
10.00 am to 12 noon at the Woodhouse Centre. Our
talented cooks and crafters offer quality home made
produce, local farm eggs and a variety of crafts for
sale. There is also a cafe area for a hot drink and cake.
Limpsfield Village WI meet on first Wednesday of
each month at St.Peters Hall, High Street, Limpsfield.

6 June: Please do come along to a tea/coffee
afternoon in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, on at 2pm
to 5pm at the United Reformed Church, Bluehouse
Lane, Oxted. Enjoy a cuppa, with a large selection of
scrumptious cakes and a chat - and bring friends or
family as well, if you can, to enjoy some social time.
There will be a raffle and, as usual, a small entrance
fee to cover the cake and cuppa.

11 June: Meet Up Catch Up. Join Sensory Services by
Sight for Surrey at their informal drop-in designed
to help bring the local community together, and
combat social isolation that many people who are
Deaf, or have sight or hearing loss can experience.
The monthly events are a relaxed and informal affair,
there is no need to book, just turn up ready to have a
cuppa and a chat, and it won’t cost you a thing, as it’s
all completely free! Oxted Library, 12 Gresham Road,
Oxted, RH8 0BQ from 10am to 12pm.
17 June: Oxted WI meeting on with guest speaker

20 June: Oxted United Reformed Church. Burnt
Flamingo Productions will perform BURN, a play
written by local playwright, Lucy Beresford-Knox. In
a dank cell, ‘Bloody’ Queen Mary, the first woman to
wear the English crown, meets the archbishop she
has condemned to death, and tells her story over
a high stakes game of chess. The performance will
be followed by a Q&A with the playwright and cast.

21 June: Circus PaZaz is coming to The Children’s
Trust in Tadworth for a day of laughter, magic and
awe-inspiring aerial skills. Gates will open at 10am,
with circus performances at 11am, 1pm, and 3pm in
the brilliant (little) big top on the mansion lawn. There
will also be a range of activities including a circus
skills area, game stalls, craft area, delicious food and
more! By joining us for a day of circus magic, you’ll
also be helping us to ensure children and young
people with brain injury and neurodisability live the

22 June: Limpsfield Chart Fair is being held from 12
noon to 4 pm. It is held on Limpsfield Chart Cricket
ground off Stoneleigh Road. Attractions include
a Dog Show, live music from local bands, a BBQ, a
bar, refreshments and cakes, ice cream. There will be
activities for children and stalls for the adults.
25 June: The Arts Society Limpsfield. Vermeer and
Music – The Art of Love and Leisure by Lydia Bauman.
EVENING LECTURE ONLY, 7.30 pm at Limpsfield
Church Hall, RH8 0DG Refreshments will be served
BEFORE the lecture. Guests £10 on the door. The
role of music and musical instruments in both life
and art of the Dutch Golden Age. This talk comes
with musical excerpts which illustrate particular
instruments shown in paintings. Based on a popular
exhibition at the National Gallery by the same title
some years ago.
