Limpsfield Memorial Stores
Bursting with Christmas produce for
the Festive period!
With Christmas fast
approaching (where
does the time go?)
we would like to let
everyone know that our
little Limpsfield High Street based shop is currently
bursting with Christmas produce and all manner
of essential items for the festive period, from duck
fat and mincemeat/pies to stollen and chutneys.
Together with our normal range of stock we hope
we have covered all, or at least most, bases as the
clock ticks down and we welcome you all to come
and take a look. We would like to also make mention
of our new range of bespoke cookies, toffees and
chutneys, featuring our new 25 year anniversary
logo, if you are looking for a local gift for someone
special.
As in previous years you can also pre-order your
Christmas turkey which once again is supplied by
Limpsfield based Stockenden Farm. These can be
collected from the Stores between 09.00 and 12.00
on Monday 23rd or Tuesday 24th December. Pop in
after 1st November to place your order. And please
don’t forget that we will once again be offering the
opportunity to pre-order from the very extensive
range of popular Weald Smokery smoked meats
such as Sussex hams, kasseler (delicious if you have
not tried it before..) bacon, smoked duck or chicken
breasts, smoked salmon slices, sides of smoked
salmon, and all sorts of other goods. All orders will
be delivered to the shop to be collected in readiness
for your Christmas gathering, the last order date
being Monday 16th December. Do let us know if you
would like to collect your smoked goods when you
collect your turkey.
Our shop
opening
hours for
Christmas
are as normal
up to and
including
Christmas
Eve. We will
be closed on
Christmas
Day and
Boxing
Day. We
will be
open
between
9am and
11am on
New Year’s
Day.
The Post
Office will
naturally
also be
open to provide all the services you need and
expect in the run up to the big day – guidance on
last posting dates, Christmas stamps, parcels inland
and overseas (don’t forget you can now do all your
customs declaration on line to save you time at the
counter). We can also sort any returns via Royal Mail
and Amazon Hub. As ever you will get a personal
service in the Post Office, and we plan to have more
hands on deck to avoid queuing. In addition, plenty
of Christmas stamps will also be available from the
shop till.
Our PO opening hours are as normal except for
Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
We very much look forward to seeing you in the
shop over the coming weeks.
