CATERHAM, OXTED &
GODSTONE LIONS CLUB
Now that summer has drawn to a
close we look to our Social and Fund
Raising Activities. In October the
Club will celebrate 46 years with a
Charter Anniversary Lunch at Reigate
Manor Hotel. Our friends from other
local Clubs will no doubt join us to
celebrate.
In November our American Themed
Evening, with a three course meal &
Cabaret, of four talented musicians, is
on Saturday 16th November. By then
we should know the outcome of the
American Presidential Election, if the
result is rather a gloomy prospect, we
will take our minds off it and celebrate
Thanksgiving Day in solidarity with
our American friends! (we won’t be
serving turkey, rather burgers and
stuff!) There will be a licensed bar from
7.00pm, event starts at 7.30pm at the
White Hart Barn, Godstone. For
details or tickets at £17.50. Contact
Tony Skilbeck: 01883 335945 or John
Quincey: 01883 742680
And then it will be Christmas…(shhhh –
we haven’t really had Autumn yet!)
