Time to appreciate our
wonderful Limpsfield community
With so
much of our
lives now
virtual and
taken up
with working
from home
or being self-
employed,
it can
sometimes
get a bit
lonely at any
age, particularly in these winter months when we’re
not all out and about so much. Luckily, Limpsfield
has a great community - or a couple of them really,
because the Chart and Village settlements are often
quite separate entities!
A lot of the community events revolve around the
church (though this doesn’t necessarily mean they
are church events), village hall or our wonderful
community drinking holes; The Bull Inn, Carpenters
Arms and RBL Club at Grub Street, plus the Tennis,
Cricket and Golf Clubs.
There are lots of regular events held in Limpsfield
that you might want to consider if you feel like some
company...

Coffee Morning - Every Wednesday, 11am, St
Peter’s Millennium Room
•
Knit and Natter – last Wednesday of every
month in Oxted Library
•
Messy Church, fun arts and crafts activities for
children, St Peter’s - every third Sunday, 3pm.

Musical Memories - singing group for people
with dementia (and their carers) - every last
Wednesday of the month (Wednesday 29th
January), 11am, St Peter’s
•
Parent & Baby Group - Every Tuesday
(including school holidays), 11-12.30 St Peter’s
Hall. Free to join, with coffee/tea and biscuits
and an open space and toys for babies to play

Bingo at The Limpsfield Royal British Legion
