Parking enforcement restarted

Since 1st July, on street parking enforcement restarted, having been relaxed since 23 March. Penalty Charge Notices will be issued to vehicles if illegally parked or not abiding by parking restrictions, such as:

• Yellow lines.
• Loading restrictions.
• Yellow and white zig zag markings.
• Identified loading / waiting / disabled bays.

As more people return to work, school or the shops, it’s important to make sure parked cars are kept clear of junctions to help pedestrians cross roads safely and so visitors and shoppers can park in the short stay parking bays.

Surrey County Council is responsible for ensuring parking restrictions on roads are enforced and the parking enforcement contract for this areas is delivered by Sevenoaks District Council.
